Hey there! Sort of Vain is a Lancaster-based booking and live production company founded in 2026 by Alex Hart.
We're all about shining a spotlight on the incredible talent in our local creative scene. We love bringing unique artists to bigger audiences through fun, memorable events and experiences.
The first Various Artists Festival is happening on November 28th at West Art, Lancaster's exciting new venue. It's a full-day celebration with multiple stages, featuring one-of-a-kind sets from local and regional musicians, comedians, and genre-bending artists. Expect surprises, good vibes, and plenty of discovery for both the artists and the audience.

The Venue
West Art is a historic church at 816 Buchanan Avenue in Lancaster City that has been transformed into a one of a kind destination for live music, performance, and visual art. Co-founded by Rufus Deakin and Josh Gibbel between 2021 and 2023, it has become a creative home for the eclectic, genre-defying programming that defines the Various Artists Festival.
The festival will take place throughout the entire building, with multiple stages spread across several floors. As you explore the venue, you'll discover live music, immersive performances, visual art, and plenty of fun and unexpected surprises around every corner. Sponsors will receive visibility across every level of the experience as attendees move through the venue and engage with everything the festival has to offer.
